Frequently Asked Questions
Every sauna we sell is handcrafted individually to order, so lead times vary depending on the model, specification and time of year. Current estimated lead times are shown on each product page and kept as accurate as possible. If you have a specific date in mind — a birthday, a garden project, a holiday at home — please get in touch before ordering and we'll give you an honest picture of what's achievable.
If you need to make a change or cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible. Because every sauna is built specifically for you, production often begins shortly after your order is confirmed. Once manufacturing is underway, we're unable to cancel or amend the order — but if you contact us early, we'll do everything we can to help. If you're unsure about anything before you commit, please just ask us first.
For all made-to-order saunas and wellness structures, we ask for a 50% deposit at the time of ordering. This secures your place in the build schedule and covers the cost of materials and production that begins shortly after your order is confirmed. The deposit is non-refundable once production has started. If you need to cancel before that point, please get in touch straight away and we'll see what we can do. The remaining balance is due before dispatch, and we'll be in touch to arrange this as your build nears completion.
Saunas are delivered by pallet or specialist two-person delivery teams to your kerbside or nearest safe access point. To make sure everything goes smoothly on the day, we'd recommend ensuring there's clear access to your garden or installation area beforehand. If your access is particularly tight, steep or unusual in any way, please let us know in advance — we'd much rather plan ahead than have a problem on delivery day. We'll keep you updated throughout the process so you always know when to expect us.
Yes — and honestly, some of our favourite deliveries have been to exactly those kinds of places. We regularly deliver to rural properties, the Scottish Highlands and remote off-grid locations across the UK, as well as to Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands and offshore Scottish islands. Lead times may be a little longer and surcharges may apply depending on distance or access, but we'll always be upfront about this before anything leaves us. If you're not sure whether your location might be affected, just get in touch and we'll check for you.
Please inspect your sauna as soon as it arrives and let us know within 24 hours if anything doesn't look right, including photographs where possible. We know how disappointing it is when something goes wrong with an order you've been excited about, and we'll do everything we can to put it right quickly. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you're entitled to a repair, replacement or refund for damaged or faulty goods, and that's exactly what we'll work towards. The sooner you let us know, the faster we can act.
Yes, and for most people it's the easiest and most enjoyable route — you simply arrive home to a finished sauna ready to use. Our experienced installation team will deliver your structure, assemble it on site, secure it to your prepared base and make sure everything is correctly positioned and ready to go. Installation is quoted separately from delivery and carried out by approved partners. If you'd like to arrange this, it's worth asking early as availability varies by area. Just get in touch and we'll confirm what's possible for you.
Because every sauna is handcrafted specifically to your order, made-to-order products are exempt from the standard 14-day change of mind return right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. This is something we're always transparent about before you buy, and it's why we encourage you to ask us anything before placing an order. If a product arrives faulty or not as described, your full rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply and we will always honour them. For full details, please see our Refunds & Returns page.
