Water Supply Requirements

A suitable cold water feed must be planned in advance along with a safe drainage point. Pipe routes should be prepared before final assembly to avoid cutting through finished panels.

Base Preparation

Installation is designed for a competent self build on a level, load bearing surface such as concrete, paving or a reinforced decking subframe. The base must be flat and stable to support the full operating weight of the filled plunge.

Access and Delivery

Delivered flat packed on a kerbside pallet, typically a minimum of 250 kg. Where access allows, a pump truck can move the pallet across solid, level surfaces. Individual components are sized for manual handling and standard garden access.

Assembly Process

All primary structural elements are pre cut and supplied with stainless steel fixings and clear step by step instructions. The plunge is assembled in position on the designated support points with allowance for ventilation and drainage.

Please inspect your delivery within 24 hours of arrival for any damage that may have occurred during transit, so we can arrange a replacement as quickly as possible.

Your sauna is delivered kerbside to the nearest accessible point at your property, such as a driveway or pavement. Each delivery arrives clearly organised, well-protected and with full installation instructions included for a smooth and straightforward self-install.

Local Collection

You are welcome to collect your order from our warehouse in Leicester. Please note that the components are long and heavy, so a large van or flatbed truck will be required.

Caring for your ice bath

Exterior And Interior Maintenance

Protect all exterior and interior timber surfaces with a fully breathable wood paint during or immediately after assembly. We recommend a water based product such as Sadolin Superdec. Apply two to three coats for full coverage, then refresh periodically. This helps reduce moisture absorption, protects the timber from weathering and supports long term durability in wet conditions.

Fibreglass Liner Care

Rinse the interior regularly with clean water to remove body oils and debris. Use a non-abrasive cloth or sponge with a mild, non-chlorine cleaner to maintain a smooth hygienic surface. Avoid harsh chemicals or scouring pads which may dull the finish. Drain and refresh water routinely depending on frequency of use.

Water Quality Management

Maintain clean water using a suitable filtration or sanitation method where fitted. Check water condition before each use and replace if it becomes cloudy or contaminated. Keeping a tight fitting cover on the plunge when not in use reduces debris and slows temperature loss.

Chiller Unit Care

Position the chiller on a stable, level surface with clear airflow on all sides. Keep ventilation grills free from leaves, dust and obstructions to maintain efficient cooling. Inspect hose connections regularly for secure fit and signs of wear. In freezing conditions, disconnect, drain and store the chiller indoors to prevent internal damage. Always follow manufacturer guidance for start-up, shutdown and seasonal storage.

Hose And Connection Checks

Periodically inspect all inlet and outlet hoses for kinks, leaks or loose fittings. Ensure clamps remain tight and replace any perished seals promptly to avoid water loss and reduced cooling performance.

Winter And Non-Use Periods

If the plunge will not be used for extended periods, fully drain the tub, dry the interior and leave the cover slightly ventilated. Drain all chiller lines and store the unit in a frost-free environment.

Our warranty explained

Warranty

All cold plunges and ice bath structures include a 2 year residential warranty covering manufacturing defects in structural timber, internal liner and factory supplied hardware. This applies only where the exterior timber has been treated and maintained as recommended. For rental, hospitality, spa or any revenue generating use, a 1 year commercial warranty applies.

The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal operating conditions.

Chillers, pumps and filtration units supplied by us include a 2 year warranty. Third party accessories are covered by their respective manufacturers.

Proof of purchase, confirmation of installation on a suitable level base and evidence of timber treatment may be required to support a claim.

What Is Covered

Manufacturing or construction defects in structural timber, internal fibreglass or stainless steel liner and factory supplied components.

Replacement of missing, damaged or faulty parts identified at delivery or during correct installation.

Technical support from our team to assess issues and coordinate replacement parts or specialist assistance where required.

What Is Not Covered

Natural timber movement, colour variation, surface cracking, resin release and normal weathering.

Minor cosmetic marks to internal liners that do not affect performance.

Issues caused by incorrect installation, inadequate base preparation, insufficient drainage or poor water management.

Misuse, operation without water, freezing of pipework, failure to maintain safe water hygiene or running pumps and chillers dry.

Unauthorised modification, non compliant electrical installation or use of incompatible third party equipment.

Installation And Use Requirements

The exterior timber must be treated after installation and re treated periodically.

Water must be kept clean and filtered where applicable.

The cold plunge is intended for normal residential use unless a commercial agreement is in place.
