Our Mission

Grounded Fox exists because heat, cold and time spent outdoors are three of the most powerful and underused tools most of us have access to. Not as a trend, not as a luxury — but as a genuine, daily practice that changes how you feel, how you think and how you recover.

Most people already have a garden or outdoor space sitting largely unused. Our mission is simple: to help you put a sauna in it, step into it regularly, and feel the difference that consistent heat therapy makes to your body and your mind. The right structure, built well and positioned thoughtfully, transforms an overlooked corner of your garden into the most used part of your home.

Our Story

I started Grounded Fox because of something I kept coming back to no matter where life took me. Time spent outdoors — genuinely outdoors, not just passing through it — always left me feeling clearer, calmer and more myself. Growing up around coastal towns, farming communities and wide open spaces, that connection wasn't something I thought about consciously. It was just how life worked. Long days outside, movement, fresh air and the kind of tiredness that feels grounding.

It was through that background — surf culture, travel, guiding, time in wild places — that I first properly encountered sauna culture. Not as a spa experience, but as a daily ritual. A way of recovering from physical effort, clearing the noise from a busy head and simply sitting in heat with nothing demanding your attention. It was one of the most straightforwardly effective things I'd ever encountered for how I felt day to day, and I couldn't understand why more people in the UK weren't doing it.

That question is really what Grounded Fox grew from. Not just a business selling outdoor products, but a genuine belief that a sauna in your garden — used regularly, in all weathers, all year round — is one of the best investments you can make in your own health and wellbeing. I wanted to make that accessible, honest and straightforward for people who felt the same pull towards it but didn't know where to start.
