At Grounded Fox, we believe the products people bring into their homes and gardens should reflect strong values behind the scenes. Social responsibility begins long before a product reaches our customers. It starts with how materials are sourced, how products are manufactured, and how the people involved in that process are treated.

We choose to work with suppliers who operate with clear standards around worker welfare, safe manufacturing environments, and responsible production. Many of the makers we partner with are established European and British manufacturers with long histories of craftsmanship, engineering and specialist fabrication. These are businesses built on skilled workforces, stable employment and a culture of doing things properly rather than chasing short-term production volume.

By prioritising suppliers with strong labour standards, transparent operations and long-term manufacturing expertise, we aim to ensure the products we offer are made under conditions that respect both people and craft. Quality should never come at the expense of the people who produce it.

Where We Are

Grounded Fox does not operate large overseas manufacturing networks. Instead, we focus on working with carefully selected suppliers primarily based in Britain and Europe. These regions maintain some of the strongest labour protections, workplace safety standards and manufacturing regulations in the world, providing a foundation for responsible production.

Many of our suppliers operate their own production facilities or work with closely managed manufacturing partners. This shorter, more transparent supply chain allows for stronger oversight of production standards, clearer traceability of materials, and closer working relationships between designers, engineers and manufacturers. In many cases, products are designed and produced within the same region, reducing unnecessary transport and maintaining tighter quality control.

We also prioritise suppliers who focus on longevity. Durable materials such as aluminium, steel, responsibly sourced timber and precision engineered components are chosen not only for performance but for lifespan. A product that lasts for decades reduces waste, lowers environmental impact and reflects a more responsible approach to manufacturing.
