Our Sauna Warranty Explained

We stand behind the quality of the saunas we supply. Warranty cover depends on who installs the sauna, while heaters, controls and other third-party components may also carry their own manufacturer warranties.

24 Months
Warranty
  • Applies when the sauna is installed by our approved installation team.
  • Covers qualifying material and manufacturing defects from the date of delivery.
  • Installation-related faults are covered where the installation formed part of our agreed scope of work.
12 Months
Warranty
  • Applies when the sauna is installed by the customer or a third-party carpenter or installer.
  • Covers qualifying material and manufacturing defects in the sauna as supplied.
  • Installation faults or damage caused during third-party installation are not covered by our warranty.
What's Covered
  • Qualifying defects in the supplied sauna structure, timber components and fittings.
  • Heaters, controls, lighting and electrical components are subject to the applicable manufacturer warranty.
  • Any repair, replacement or inspection is assessed against the full warranty terms and relevant product manuals.
Key Points
  • The sauna must be used, installed and maintained in accordance with its manuals and intended purpose.
  • Natural timber movement, colour variation, weathering and normal wear are not manufacturing defects.
  • Warranty periods may differ for commercial-use, mobile or trailer-mounted saunas.

Warranty Conditions

The warranty applies to qualifying defects under normal use. It does not cover:

  • Natural characteristics of timber, including knots, resin, colour variation, dimensional movement, checking or cracking caused by changes in heat and humidity
  • Normal wear and tear, cosmetic weathering or gradual discolouration
  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, incorrect storage or use outside the sauna's intended purpose
  • Failure to clean, ventilate or maintain the sauna in accordance with the relevant manuals
  • Damage caused by incorrect foundations, site preparation, assembly or installation
  • Unauthorised repairs, alterations or modifications
  • Weather-related damage, including storm, flood, lightning, excessive snow load or wind damage
  • Damage caused by unsuitable chemicals, abrasive cleaners, pressure washing or non-sauna finishes
  • Damage caused by incorrect electrical supply, connection, power surges or electrical work completed by others
  • Heater damage caused by incorrect stone loading, unsuitable stones, obstructed airflow or operation contrary to the heater manual
  • Third-party installation work and any resulting damage where the sauna was supplied for self-installation

Always follow the manual supplied with your sauna and heater. Where a manufacturer's instructions differ from this summary, the product-specific instructions and full warranty terms take priority.

Care & Maintenance

After each use, wipe down wet benches, backrests, floors and other high-contact areas. Leave the door and vents open until the interior has dried, and do not leave wet towels or accessories inside.

Clean periodically with warm water, a soft cloth or brush and a mild sauna-safe cleaner. Avoid bleach, ammonia, harsh chemicals, abrasive products and ordinary interior varnishes.

Use towels on the benches to reduce sweat staining. Dry or marked timber may be lightly cleaned, gently sanded if appropriate and treated only with a sauna-suitable bench protection product.

Heater, Stones & Ventilation

Inspect sauna stones regularly and replace any that are cracked, crumbling or heavily discoloured. Stack approved sauna stones loosely enough to maintain airflow around the heating elements. Keep vents clear and follow the heater manufacturer's instructions at all times.

Outdoor Saunas

Inspect exterior cladding, roofing, doors, hinges, fixings, vents and drainage periodically, especially after storms or prolonged wet weather. Coastal, shaded, exposed and high-rainfall locations may require more frequent maintenance and corrosion protection.

Making a Warranty Claim
