Timo combines a dedicated heat room with a separate changing and entrance space, so the sauna itself stays calm while robes, towels and movement remain outside it. At 6.5 square metres with a 280 centimetre ridge above, the heat room has a useful vertical temperature gradient, allowing bathers to adjust a session by moving between bench levels.

Regular sauna bathing raises heart rate and increases blood flow in a way that resembles light cardiovascular exercise, while heat can help muscles relax after activity. The practical second space also makes regular use easier: there is somewhere to cool briefly, change and organise belongings without opening the outer door directly into the heat room.

The generous double glazing matters here too. Daylight and a view into the garden make the cabin feel less enclosed, which can make longer, more settled sessions easier for a group of four or five.
Delivered flat-packed for self-assembly, with free UK mainland delivery on qualifying orders. The larger Cube format requires a little more assembly time than the smaller Icon models, so we recommend allowing a weekend and having a second person to help. A solid, level base and suitable delivery access are required.

For a complete setup, select Professional Installation and choose your preferred date, allowing for the stated production lead time. We’ll then arrange the installation around your requirements, including any additional preparation or works needed to accommodate your sauna where possible.

Electric sauna heaters require a suitable dedicated electrical supply and are not simply plug-and-play. The power requirements depend on the heater's output and the electrical supply available at the property.

Smaller heaters may be suitable for a 230V single-phase supply, while larger or more powerful heaters can require a 400V three-phase supply. Single-phase power uses one electrical phase, whereas three-phase power distributes the load across three phases and is better suited to higher-powered equipment.

The correct supply will depend on the specific heater you choose, so the heater's electrical requirements should always be checked before installation.

Sauna heaters will normally need to be hard-wired into a correctly rated dedicated circuit with the appropriate cable, isolation and electrical protection. They should not be connected using a standard household plug or extension lead.

The final electrical connection should be completed by a suitably qualified electrician in accordance with the heater manufacturer's instructions and applicable electrical regulations. This is important for both safety and reliable operation of the heater.

If you're based in the Leicestershire area, we can arrange the electrical installation of your sauna heater for an additional fee. Please speak to our team if you'd like this included with your sauna.

Wood-fired sauna heaters do not require an electrical supply for heating, but they do require the correct installation of the stove, chimney, flue and surrounding heat protection.

The stove must be positioned according to the manufacturer's required safety distances from timber walls, benches and other combustible materials. Depending on the stove and sauna design, suitable heat shields or other non-combustible protection may also be required.

The floor beneath and immediately around the stove may also require suitable non-combustible protection, particularly where there is a risk of embers or hot material falling from the stove.

A suitable chimney and flue system must be installed to safely carry smoke and combustion gases outside the sauna. Where the flue passes through the roof, the correct insulated chimney components, roof flashing and heat-resistant protection should be used.

Correct ventilation is also important. A wood-fired stove requires an adequate supply of combustion air, while the sauna itself needs sufficient airflow to provide fresh air, circulate heat and allow moisture to escape.

When choosing the position of an outdoor wood-fired sauna, you should also consider where the chimney will discharge in relation to your house, neighbouring properties, windows, boundaries and outdoor seating areas.

Any applicable local requirements should be checked before installation, particularly where chimney positioning, smoke control or other restrictions may apply.

Timo's two-space layout helps contain moisture in the sauna room while keeping robes and towels in the changing area. After each session, prop the bronze glass door and outer door open for twenty to thirty minutes so moisture can leave both spaces, wipe the benches once cooled, and sand the interior lightly once or twice a year where contact is heaviest.

The large 120 by 91 centimetre window needs a little more attention than the surrounding timber. Double glazed units cope with the temperature swing well, but condensation on the inside face after a session should be wiped rather than left to run onto the frame and sill. A standard glass cleaner and soft cloth are enough for both windows and the bronze internal door; avoid abrasives.

Externally, treat the spruce every two to three years, prioritising whichever elevation takes the most sun and driving rain. The 20 degree pitch clears water and debris efficiently, but check that runoff is not landing against the base of the walls and keep the ground around the cabin clear of leaves and standing water.
This sauna comes with a 5 year warranty for residential use and 2 years for commercial use, covering structural timber, glazing, and hardware. Valid claims are assessed case by case, and we'll supply replacement parts wherever possible rather than the whole sauna.
Production takes 10-12 weeks, plus 1-2 weeks dispatch time for pallet haulage. This sauna is delivered flat packed unless otherwise stated. Free UK mainland shipping applies to orders over £500 covering up to one double pallet (2.4m x 1.2m x 2.2m) or two single pallets (1.2m x 1.2m x 2.2m). If your order exceeds this due to length, weight, or quantity, additional pallet charges may apply and are quoted separately based on postcode. Please have a solid base, clear access, and suitable unloading space ready before delivery, with help on site if needed. Pallet deliveries are kerbside only, and you're responsible for moving goods onto your property.

Sauna Timo — Pitched Roof with Entrance Overhang — spruce — angle view 1

Two practical spaces under a classic pitch

Timo is the wide, shallow member of the pair, measuring 320 by 202 centimetres and 6.5 square metres. Its plan is divided into two practical spaces: a dedicated sauna room and a separate changing and entrance room. Solid spruce walls are 50 and 70 millimetres depending on the elevation, while the pitched roof rises to 280 centimetres at the ridge on a 20 degree slope across 13 square metres. That makes this the tallest of the four Eero and Timo variants and the most cabin-like in outline.

The glazing is what people notice first. A 120 by 91 centimetre double glazed window is a lot of glass for a sauna this size, and a second at 100 by 60 centimetres balances it, so daytime sessions happen in daylight rather than in a dark box. The entrance sits under a roof overhang with an 80 by 201 centimetre outer door, while a bronze glass door at 70 by 190 centimetres separates the changing space from the sauna room. Sauna benches, 26 millimetre floor boards and an insulated roof element over the sauna room are included. The roof element uses 12 millimetre boards, 50 millimetres of ISOVER insulation and a further 12 millimetres of board. The 19 millimetre roof boards are supplied and the weatherproof covering is chosen separately.

Because Timo only needs 202 centimetres of depth, it fits gardens where an Eero simply would not, sitting comfortably against a fence line or across the end of a shallow plot with its wide face and windows pointed at the view. The separate entrance and changing space keeps towels, robes and cool air away from the benches. The pitched roof gives it the proportions of a proper little building, while self assembly uses the same numbered panel system as the rest of the log sauna range.
