A heater this size runs off a normal household supply, but it can't go in a plug socket. It needs its own dedicated circuit, much like an electric shower or oven. Whichever heater you pick, check what it needs before you buy.

A wood stove needs no electrics at all, but it does get extremely hot. It has to sit a set distance from the timber walls and benches, usually with a heat shield behind it, and something fireproof underneath in case an ember drops out. The stove instructions give you the exact distances. The walls are 42mm solid timber with no insulation layer, so it takes a bit longer to warm up and uses a bit more wood than an insulated one.

The chimney runs up and out through the roof. The chimney goes up through the roof panel, so that hole needs cutting and sealing properly. The fire also needs air to burn, and the room needs a vent low down and another high up so fresh air comes in and damp gets out. Have a think about where the smoke will blow, in relation to your house, your neighbours and where you sit outside.

The Sauna Maria needs standard multiroom log sauna care, scaled to its more accessible size. After every session, prop the heat room door open for twenty to thirty minutes to let moisture escape fully, the most effective habit for preventing mould and dark staining on timber surfaces. Wipe benches down once cooled, and sand the interior lightly once or twice a year wherever contact is heaviest.

The tempered glass front needs only a standard glass cleaner and soft cloth. The separate changing space, being unheated, should be checked periodically for general dampness, ensuring it's drying out properly between uses alongside the main heat room.

Externally, treat the Spruce exterior, both rooms, with a wood treatment every two to three years depending on weather exposure. Keep the base area clear of leaves and standing water, the same fundamental care any outdoor timber sauna needs regardless of scale within the multiroom range.

Deliveries are kerbside and unloaded using the vehicle's tail lift, so no machinery or extra help is needed on your side. For properties with tight or restricted access, we can arrange delivery on a smaller vehicle with the goods handballed off instead — just let us know your access situation before ordering.

Please have a solid, level base and clear access ready before delivery. Pallet deliveries are kerbside only, and once unloaded you're responsible for moving the goods onto your property.
