A heater this size runs off a normal household supply, but it can't go in a plug socket. It needs its own dedicated circuit, much like an electric shower or oven. Whichever heater you pick, check what it needs before you buy.

A wood stove needs no electrics at all, but it does get extremely hot. It has to sit a set distance from the timber walls and benches, usually with a heat shield behind it, and something fireproof underneath in case an ember drops out. The stove instructions give you the exact distances. The walls are 34mm solid timber with no insulation layer, so it takes a bit longer to warm up and uses a bit more wood than an insulated one.

The chimney runs up and out through the roof. The chimney goes up through the roof panel, so that hole needs cutting and sealing properly. The fire also needs air to burn, and the room needs a vent low down and another high up so fresh air comes in and damp gets out.

Indoor sauna care follows similar timber principles to an outdoor cabin, but with extra attention to the surrounding room since there's no outdoor airflow to help manage humidity. After every session, leave the door open and ensure your ventilation is doing its job to let the heat room dry out fully, since trapped moisture indoors can affect not just the sauna's timber but the surrounding room if not managed properly. Wipe down the aspen benches after use, since sweat left to dry will leave a residue over time.

Give the interior a light sand once or twice a year wherever contact is heaviest, typically bench seats and backrests. Leave the timber unsealed, since sauna wood needs to breathe and absorb moisture during use. The tempered glass door and window just need a standard glass cleaner and soft cloth.

Because this sauna sits inside an existing room rather than outdoors, check the surrounding floor and any adjacent surfaces periodically for signs of moisture migration, which is why a proper water-resistant floor underneath matters so much for an indoor installation. There's no exterior timber to treat in the way an outdoor sauna requires, but keep an eye on the room's general ventilation and humidity levels to ensure the wider space stays in good condition alongside the sauna itself.

Please have a solid, level base and clear access ready before delivery. Pallet deliveries are kerbside only, and once unloaded you're responsible for moving the goods onto your property.
