Inside, this sauna holds about 7.1 m³ of air, about the size of a small box room. To get that properly hot you want roughly 6kW of heat, and the HUUM DROP 6kW with Wi-Fi is the one we'd point you at. Anything between 6kW and 8kW will do the job, so it comes down to how it looks, how you control it and what you want to spend. A heater this size runs off a normal household supply, but it can't go in a plug socket. It needs its own dedicated circuit, much like an electric shower or oven. Whichever heater you pick, check what it needs before you buy.

A wood stove needs no electrics at all, but it does get extremely hot. It has to sit a set distance from the timber walls and benches, usually with a heat shield behind it, and something fireproof underneath in case an ember drops out. The stove instructions give you the exact distances. The walls are 34mm solid timber with no insulation layer, so it takes a bit longer to warm up and uses a bit more wood than an insulated one.

The chimney runs up and out through the roof. The chimney goes up through the roof panel, so that hole needs cutting and sealing properly. The fire also needs air to burn, and the room needs a vent low down and another high up so fresh air comes in and damp gets out.

Caring for this larger indoor sauna follows the same principles as the Small model, simply across more surface area. After every session, ensure ventilation is doing its job and leave the door open to let the heat room dry out fully, since indoor humidity needs proper management without the natural airflow an outdoor sauna benefits from. Wipe down the aspen benches after use and give the interior a light sand once or twice a year wherever contact is heaviest.

Leave the timber unsealed to allow it to breathe and absorb moisture properly during sessions. The tempered glass door and larger window need only a standard glass cleaner and soft cloth.

Given the larger footprint, check the surrounding room's floor and walls periodically for any signs of moisture migration, reinforcing why a properly prepared, water-resistant floor matters even more at this scale. There's no exterior timber treatment needed since the structure sits indoors, but pay attention to the room's overall ventilation and humidity control to keep both the sauna and the surrounding space in good condition over time.

Deliveries are kerbside and unloaded using the vehicle's tail lift, so no machinery or extra help is needed on your side. For properties with tight or restricted access, we can arrange delivery on a smaller vehicle with the goods handballed off instead — just let us know your access situation before ordering.

Please have a solid, level base and clear access ready before delivery. Pallet deliveries are kerbside only, and once unloaded you're responsible for moving the goods onto your property.
