Built to age beautifully. Thermowood offers a richer finish, stronger durability, and better long-term performance.
A premium specification sauna delivers exactly the same core physiological benefits as a more basic model, heat exposure raises heart rate and improves circulation in a way comparable to light cardiovascular exercise regardless of finish level, but the genuine investment households make in a more elevated purchase often correlates with more consistent, valued use over time. A sauna that feels like a properly considered garden feature, rather than a purely functional box, tends to get prioritised and genuinely enjoyed rather than treated as an afterthought.

The balanced square proportions of the Cubus Premium support comfortable group sessions without the narrower, more corridor-like feel a long rectangular cabin of similar floor area might have. This matters for genuine social sauna use, where the relaxed, unhurried environment of bathing together naturally encourages conversation and connection in a way that's central to sauna culture across Finland and the Baltic states.

For households specifically treating their sauna as a serious long-term wellness investment, choosing an elevated specification reflects a genuine commitment to the practice rather than a tentative trial purchase. That deeper commitment, paired with genuine comfort for five or six people, tends to support the kind of consistent, regular group habit that delivers the most meaningful long-term benefits from sauna bathing.
Delivered flat-packed for self-assembly, with free UK mainland delivery on qualifying orders. The larger Cube format requires a little more assembly time than the smaller Icon models, so we recommend allowing a weekend and having a second person to help. A solid, level base and suitable delivery access are required.

For a complete setup, select Professional Installation and choose your preferred date, allowing for the stated production lead time. We’ll then arrange the installation around your requirements, including any additional preparation or works needed to accommodate your sauna where possible.

Electric sauna heaters require a suitable dedicated electrical supply and are not simply plug-and-play. The power requirements depend on the heater's output and the electrical supply available at the property.

Smaller heaters may be suitable for a 230V single-phase supply, while larger or more powerful heaters can require a 400V three-phase supply. Single-phase power uses one electrical phase, whereas three-phase power distributes the load across three phases and is better suited to higher-powered equipment.

The correct supply will depend on the specific heater you choose, so the heater's electrical requirements should always be checked before installation.

Sauna heaters will normally need to be hard-wired into a correctly rated dedicated circuit with the appropriate cable, isolation and electrical protection. They should not be connected using a standard household plug or extension lead.

The final electrical connection should be completed by a suitably qualified electrician in accordance with the heater manufacturer's instructions and applicable electrical regulations. This is important for both safety and reliable operation of the heater.

If you're based in the Leicestershire area, we can arrange the electrical installation of your sauna heater for an additional fee. Please speak to our team if you'd like this included with your sauna.

Wood-fired sauna heaters do not require an electrical supply for heating, but they do require the correct installation of the stove, chimney, flue and surrounding heat protection.

The stove must be positioned according to the manufacturer's required safety distances from timber walls, benches and other combustible materials. Depending on the stove and sauna design, suitable heat shields or other non-combustible protection may also be required.

The floor beneath and immediately around the stove may also require suitable non-combustible protection, particularly where there is a risk of embers or hot material falling from the stove.

A suitable chimney and flue system must be installed to safely carry smoke and combustion gases outside the sauna. Where the flue passes through the roof, the correct insulated chimney components, roof flashing and heat-resistant protection should be used.

Correct ventilation is also important. A wood-fired stove requires an adequate supply of combustion air, while the sauna itself needs sufficient airflow to provide fresh air, circulate heat and allow moisture to escape.

When choosing the position of an outdoor wood-fired sauna, you should also consider where the chimney will discharge in relation to your house, neighbouring properties, windows, boundaries and outdoor seating areas.

Any applicable local requirements should be checked before installation, particularly where chimney positioning, smoke control or other restrictions may apply.

The Cubus Premium needs standard solid timber sauna care, with its premium finish warranting slightly more attentive upkeep to keep it looking its best. After every session, leave the door open for twenty to thirty minutes to let the heat room dry out fully, preventing mould and dark staining on timber surfaces. Wipe benches down once cooled, and sand the interior lightly once or twice a year wherever group use creates the most contact wear.

The front wall glass feature needs regular cleaning with a standard glass cleaner and soft cloth, checking for condensation after sessions given the glazed area's role in the overall premium aesthetic.

Externally, treat the Spruce exterior with a wood treatment every two to three years depending on weather exposure, keeping the premium finish looking considered rather than letting general wear go unaddressed. Keep the base clear of debris and standing water, the same fundamental care any outdoor timber sauna needs, with a structure of this specification rewarding slightly more attentive seasonal checks overall.
This sauna comes with a 5 year warranty for residential use and 2 years for commercial use, covering structural timber, glazing, and hardware. Valid claims are assessed case by case, and we'll supply replacement parts wherever possible rather than the whole sauna.
Production takes 10-12 weeks, plus 1-2 weeks dispatch time for pallet haulage. This sauna is delivered flat packed unless otherwise stated. Free UK mainland shipping applies to orders over £500 covering up to one double pallet (2.4m x 1.2m x 2.2m) or two single pallets (1.2m x 1.2m x 2.2m). If your order exceeds this due to length, weight, or quantity, additional pallet charges may apply and are quoted separately based on postcode. Please have a solid base, clear access, and suitable unloading space ready before delivery, with help on site if needed. Pallet deliveries are kerbside only, and you're responsible for moving goods onto your property.

Cube Sauna Cubus Premium — Full Front Glass Thermowood, Premium Spec — thermowood — front view 1

A serious investment, not an entry level box

Cubus Premium brings a genuinely square footprint to the barrel sauna range, with a 300 by 240 centimetre base and solid spruce construction throughout that gives the structure real presence in the garden. The premium designation reflects an elevated specification compared with the standard barrel and Icon ranges, positioned as a more considered option within the wider sauna catalogue.

The square base distinguishes Cubus Premium from both the traditional elongated barrel format and the more cube influenced Icon range, giving it proportions that feel balanced and substantial rather than narrow or stretched in either direction. This balanced footprint suits households who want their sauna to feel like a proper standalone structure rather than simply a curved tube positioned in the garden.

Cubus Premium suits anyone wanting a premium specification sauna with genuinely square proportions, the kind of build that signals a serious investment in outdoor wellness rather than an entry level addition, delivering both the visual presence and the construction quality that a premium positioning within the range implies. It tends to anchor a garden rather than simply occupying a corner of it, becoming the feature everything else in the outdoor space gets arranged around, the kind of structure visitors notice before they notice anything else.
