Hot Tub Ofuro brings the Japanese soaking tub tradition to wood fired heating, 190 x 120cm of oval Thermowood built to handle everything a British garden delivers across the year. The oval shape gives more room to stretch out than a tight round design. A slower ritual than an electric tub, and one many people come to prefer once they have properly tried it.

A solid, level base and suitable delivery access are required. For a complete setup, select Professional Installation and choose your preferred date, allowing for the stated production lead time. We’ll then arrange the installation around your requirements, including any additional preparation or works needed to accommodate your sauna where possible.
A wood fired Thermowood hot tub needs a bit more involved care than an electric spa, given the burner and fire management involved. After each use, let the firebox cool fully before any cleaning out of ash, and clear it before your next session to ensure good airflow for efficient burning. Check the burner and any flue components periodically for soot build-up, which affects heating efficiency over time if left unaddressed. For the tub itself, drain and refresh the water regularly depending on usage frequency, and give the interior a wipe down periodically, particularly at the waterline where residue from bathing products or skin oils tends to collect. Check stave joints and any fittings for leaks, especially after the tub has been left empty for an extended period, since timber can shrink slightly when dry and take a fill or two to seal properly again. Externally, Thermowood's heat treatment gives strong natural resistance to weathering, so it needs little beyond an occasional check for surface wear. A light oil treatment every couple of years maintains the original colour if you prefer that to the natural silvery grey patina Thermowood develops over time outdoors.

Production takes 2-4 weeks, plus 1-2 weeks dispatch time for pallet haulage. This sauna is delivered flat packed unless otherwise stated. Free UK mainland shipping applies. If your order exceeds standard pallet limits due to length, weight, or quantity, additional pallet charges may apply and are quoted separately based on postcode.

Deliveries are kerbside and unloaded using the vehicle's tail lift, so no machinery or extra help is needed on your side. For properties with tight or restricted access, we can arrange delivery on a smaller vehicle with the goods handballed off instead — just let us know your access situation before ordering.

Please have a solid, level base and clear access ready before delivery. Pallet deliveries are kerbside only, and once unloaded you're responsible for moving the goods onto your property. The Hot Tub "Ofuro" brings the traditional Japanese soaking tub format to wood fired heating, with an oval 190 by 120 centimetre footprint and 97 centimetre depth that gives a slightly more spacious feel than a round tub of similar capacity.
