Fiano Motorised Side Screen

The Fiano motorised sun screen system is designed for people who actually use their pergola day to day. Midday sun, a bit of breeze, or neighbouring sightlines can quickly limit how often you sit outside. With these screens in place you simply lower them when needed and carry on using the space.

The Somfy IO motor is smooth and quiet, so you do not get that rattling fabric effect you see on lighter systems. It drops straight and stays tensioned in the side guides, which matters on windy afternoons when you still want the sides partially open. The cassette is compact and colour matched to the frame, so when the screen is up it almost disappears into the structure.

Installation is straightforward for anyone familiar with pergola builds. The system mounts between the posts and the guide height can be trimmed on site to suit your finished floor level. Widths are fixed to match Pinela spans, which keeps alignment clean and avoids the slack you often see in universal screens. A level frame is important for smooth running, as the motorised tube needs to sit square within the cabinet for proper tension and travel limits.

In real use it becomes one of those features you rely on more than expected. Early morning coffee with the low sun blocked, evening heat held in a little longer, or a sheltered corner when the wind picks up. It keeps the pergola usable rather than just decorative.

Delivery and collection options

Standard Delivery

Delivery to mainland UK is completely free, in stock items dispatch within 5-14 working days. Contact us to arrange delivery dates that work for you. Additional charges apply to locations outside of UK mainland.

Please inspect your delivery within 24 hours of arrival for any damage that may have occurred during transit, so we can arrange a replacement as quickly as possible.

Your Deponti veranda is delivered kerbside to the nearest accessible point at your property, such as a driveway or pavement. Each delivery arrives clearly organised, well-protected and with full installation instructions included for a smooth and straightforward self-install.

Local Collection

You are welcome to collect your order from our warehouse in Rugby. Please note that the components are long and heavy, so a large van or flatbed truck will be required.

You can return an order within 14 days of receiving it.
