We’ll then arrange the installation around your requirements, including any additional preparation or works needed to accommodate your sauna where possible.
Caring for the larger Deluxe Tub 220 XL follows the same routine as other wood fired models, with slightly more volume and surface area to manage. After each session, let the firebox cool fully before clearing ash, checking for good airflow before the next fire. Periodically inspect the external heater and flue for soot build-up that can reduce heating efficiency over time. Given the larger water volume, plan your draining and refreshing schedule with that in mind, since more water left stagnant for extended periods will still develop the same issues a smaller tub would, just at greater volume. Wipe down the interior periodically and check stave joints for leaks, particularly if the tub sits empty for any length of time. Thermowood's natural weather resistance means minimal exterior maintenance is needed beyond occasional checks for surface wear. A light oil treatment every couple of years maintains the original colour if preferred.
