Yes. Sauna heaters draw far more than a standard socket circuit and must be wired to a dedicated supply by a qualified electrician. Higher-output models may need a three-phase supply, so check the specification against your consumer unit first.

Enough to cover the elements or firebox completely, typically 15–20kg on a domestic heater. The stones store the heat that makes löyly possible, so rinse them before use, stack them loosely for airflow and replace any that crack.

Most of our cabins take either type, but wood-fired needs a flue route, clear roof clearance and a heat shield behind the stove. Check the model specification or ask us first, and we will confirm the fit for your cabin.
