Product Information
The Beacon 385 Pro is designed as a complete outdoor wellness space rather than a single room sauna. The porch and changing area create a natural transition into the heat, keeping the main sauna cleaner, drier and more comfortable for regular use.
The 42 mm thermowood structure remains stable through changing weather and supports efficient heat circulation across both bench levels. This helps the sauna warm evenly and maintain temperature without cold pockets, with simple maintenance required to protect the exterior.
In daily use the layout feels spacious and practical. You can sit upright, recline or stretch out comfortably, and the option of rear glazing brings in natural light while maintaining privacy. It works for solo sessions as well as shared use without feeling oversized.
Installation is straightforward on a level base and the flat pack format keeps access manageable for most garden settings, whether self built or professionally installed.
Over time it becomes part of a routine rather than a feature, providing a reliable year round space for recovery, relaxation and everyday outdoor use.

Assembly & Installation
Self-installation and professional installation available
Electrical Requirements
A suitable electrical supply must be planned in advance according to the selected heater output and control system. Cable routing should be prepared before final assembly to avoid retrofitting through finished panels.
Qualified Electrical Connection
All electrical wiring, heater connection and commissioning must be completed by a qualified electrician in accordance with current regulations. This ensures safe load handling, correct operation and full warranty compliance.
Base Preparation
Installation is designed for a competent self build on a level, load bearing surface such as concrete, paving or a suitably reinforced decking subframe. The base must be flat and stable to support the unit weight and ensure correct door alignment and structural performance.
Access and Delivery
Delivered flat packed on a kerbside pallet, typically a minimum of 500 kg. Where access allows, a pump truck can be used to move the pallet across solid, level surfaces and position it closer to the installation area. Individual components are sized for manual handling, allowing them to pass through standard garden access points without cranes or lifting equipment.
Assembly Process
All primary structural elements are pre cut and supplied with stainless steel fixings, tension bands and clear step by step instructions. The cabin is assembled in position on the designated support points, with allowances for ventilation gaps and heater safety clearances.
Heater Position and Ventilation
Adequate space must be maintained around the heater location in line with manufacturer guidelines. Integrated ventilation points must remain unobstructed to ensure correct airflow, safe operation and consistent heat performance.
Please inspect your delivery within 24 hours of arrival for any damage that may have occurred during transit, so we can arrange a replacement as quickly as possible.
Your sauna is delivered kerbside to the nearest accessible point at your property, such as a driveway or pavement. Each delivery arrives clearly organised, well-protected and with full installation instructions included for a smooth and straightforward self-install.

Cleaning & Care
Caring for your sauna
Exterior Protection and Maintenance
Protect the exterior of your sauna with a fully breathable wood paint during or immediately after assembly. We recommend a water based product such as Sadolin Superdec. Apply two to three coats for full coverage, then refresh every few years. This helps protect the timber from weathering, keeps the finish looking clean and supports long term durability in outdoor conditions.
Interior Maintenance
The internal walls, benches and backrests are factory treated for protection. Clean regularly with a soft damp cloth and allow the interior to dry fully after use by leaving the door open. We recommend applying a light coat of mineral oil periodically to benches and backrests to maintain the timber, reduce moisture absorption and keep the surface comfortable and hygienic.
Ventilation and Drying
After each session, allow fresh air to circulate by opening the door and any adjustable vents. Proper drying helps prevent moisture build up, supports timber stability and keeps the sauna environment fresh for the next use.
Heater Care and Safe Operation
Inspect the heater regularly to ensure stones are correctly stacked and air can circulate freely. Do not overfill the stone basket and only use approved sauna stones. Remove any broken or crumbling stones during routine checks. Keep heater safety clearances free from towels or combustible materials and never operate the heater without stones in place.
Electrical and Control Checks
Ensure all electrical connections are installed by a qualified professional and remain dry and protected. Periodically check the control unit for correct operation and avoid exposing it to excess moisture or direct water contact.
General Use Guidance
Use only clean water on sauna stones when producing steam and avoid additives unless approved by the heater manufacturer. Do not dry clothing inside the sauna as this restricts airflow and increases fire risk.
Seasonal Care
If the sauna will not be used for extended periods, ensure the interior is fully dry, clean all surfaces and disconnect power to the heater where appropriate.
Warranty
Our warranty explained
Warranty
All sauna cabins and outdoor wellness structures include a 2 year residential warranty covering manufacturing defects in structural timber and factory supplied hardware. This applies only where the exterior timber has been treated and maintained as recommended. For rental, hospitality, spa or any revenue generating use, a 1 year commercial warranty applies.
The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal operating conditions.
Heaters, electrical components and third party accessories are covered by their respective manufacturers.
Proof of purchase, confirmation of installation on a suitable level base and evidence of timber treatment may be required to support a claim.
What Is Covered
Manufacturing or construction defects in structural timber and factory supplied components.
Replacement of missing, damaged or faulty parts identified at delivery or during correct installation.
Technical support from our team to assess issues and coordinate replacement parts or specialist assistance where required.
What Is Not Covered
Natural timber movement, colour variation, surface cracking, resin release and normal weathering.
Issues caused by incorrect installation, inadequate base preparation or poor ventilation.
Misuse, failure to follow heater safety clearances or non compliant electrical installation.
Exposure to standing water, ground contact outside designated support points or unauthorised structural modification.
Installation and Use Requirements
The sauna must be installed on a level, load bearing base with adequate ventilation.
The exterior timber must be treated after installation and re treated periodically.
All electrical wiring and heater commissioning must be completed by a qualified electrician and in line with safety clearances.
The sauna is intended for normal residential use unless a commercial agreement is in place.
Maintaining Your Cover
Failure to meet installation, electrical or clearance requirements may invalidate the warranty.
Proof of purchase and installation details must be retained for any future claim.

Frequently asked questions
Yes, you can finish the timber in any colour you like, as long as you use a breathable treatment so the wood can expand and release moisture properly.
Running costs are fairly modest. Most home saunas use a 3 to 9 kW heater, which typically works out at around £0.30 to £0.90 per hour depending on your electricity rate and how long you use it.
You should treat the inside and outside of the sauna as soon as possible to protect the timber and keep the warranty valid. Treating the benches with a breathable oil is also recommended.
It needs a flat, solid base that can take the full weight of the sauna and the people using it. Concrete, paving slabs or a strong deck all work well as long as the surface is level and well drained.
You can if you are confident with this type of project, but most people choose professional installation to make sure everything is assembled correctly and to save time.
Most electric saunas are ready in about 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the heater size and the weather outside.
Yes, proper airflow is essential for comfort and performance. Each sauna includes ventilation points to allow fresh air in and moisture out, helping maintain an even temperature and protect the timber over time.
Yes, once the heater has been correctly connected and the timber has been treated, you can begin using your sauna. We recommend a gentle first heat cycle to allow the wood to settle before regular sessions.
