A compact cube sauna delivers exactly the same core physiological benefits as a larger model: heat exposure raises heart rate and improves circulation in a way comparable to light cardiovascular exercise, regardless of how much floor space the cabin occupies. For individuals or couples specifically, a sauna sized realistically for actual usage patterns, rather than built to accommodate group sizes that rarely materialise, often gets used more consistently simply because it matches genuine daily or weekly use.

The front wall glass feature brings meaningful natural light into a compact heat room, which matters more in a smaller space where a fully enclosed design might otherwise feel cramped. Good natural light during sauna use has a positive effect on how relaxing the session feels, helping a compact cabin feel genuinely pleasant rather than purely functional.

For anyone exploring barrel or cube sauna ownership for the first time without committing to a larger budget or garden footprint, this entry point removes much of the risk involved in a bigger purchase. Building genuine consistency with a manageable, well-built compact sauna first, which research on habitual sauna users consistently identifies as the key factor driving long-term wellbeing benefits, often makes more practical sense than starting with a larger model that might end up underused.
Delivered flat-packed for self-assembly, with free UK mainland delivery on qualifying orders. The larger Cube format requires a little more assembly time than the smaller Icon models, so we recommend allowing a weekend and having a second person to help. A solid, level base and suitable delivery access are required.

For a complete setup, select Professional Installation and choose your preferred date, allowing for the stated production lead time. We’ll then arrange the installation around your requirements, including any additional preparation or works needed to accommodate your sauna where possible.

Electric sauna heaters require a suitable dedicated electrical supply and are not simply plug-and-play. The power requirements depend on the heater's output and the electrical supply available at the property.

Smaller heaters may be suitable for a 230V single-phase supply, while larger or more powerful heaters can require a 400V three-phase supply. Single-phase power uses one electrical phase, whereas three-phase power distributes the load across three phases and is better suited to higher-powered equipment.

The correct supply will depend on the specific heater you choose, so the heater's electrical requirements should always be checked before installation.

Sauna heaters will normally need to be hard-wired into a correctly rated dedicated circuit with the appropriate cable, isolation and electrical protection. They should not be connected using a standard household plug or extension lead.

The final electrical connection should be completed by a suitably qualified electrician in accordance with the heater manufacturer's instructions and applicable electrical regulations. This is important for both safety and reliable operation of the heater.

If you're based in the Leicestershire area, we can arrange the electrical installation of your sauna heater for an additional fee. Please speak to our team if you'd like this included with your sauna.

Wood-fired sauna heaters do not require an electrical supply for heating, but they do require the correct installation of the stove, chimney, flue and surrounding heat protection.

The stove must be positioned according to the manufacturer's required safety distances from timber walls, benches and other combustible materials. Depending on the stove and sauna design, suitable heat shields or other non-combustible protection may also be required.

The floor beneath and immediately around the stove may also require suitable non-combustible protection, particularly where there is a risk of embers or hot material falling from the stove.

A suitable chimney and flue system must be installed to safely carry smoke and combustion gases outside the sauna. Where the flue passes through the roof, the correct insulated chimney components, roof flashing and heat-resistant protection should be used.

Correct ventilation is also important. A wood-fired stove requires an adequate supply of combustion air, while the sauna itself needs sufficient airflow to provide fresh air, circulate heat and allow moisture to escape.

When choosing the position of an outdoor wood-fired sauna, you should also consider where the chimney will discharge in relation to your house, neighbouring properties, windows, boundaries and outdoor seating areas.

Any applicable local requirements should be checked before installation, particularly where chimney positioning, smoke control or other restrictions may apply.

The Icon 125 needs standard solid timber sauna care, scaled to its compact size. After every session, leave the door open for twenty to thirty minutes to let the heat room dry out fully, the most effective habit for preventing mould and dark staining on timber surfaces. Wipe benches down once cooled, and give the interior a light sand once or twice a year wherever hands and bare skin make the most contact.

The front wall glass feature needs only a standard glass cleaner and soft cloth, with a quick check for condensation after sessions given the glazed area.

Externally, treat the Spruce exterior with a wood treatment every two to three years depending on weather exposure; the compact footprint makes this a manageable task to stay on top of each cycle. Keep the base clear of leaves and standing water, the same fundamental principle that applies to any outdoor timber sauna regardless of format or size.
This sauna comes with a 5 year warranty for residential use and 2 years for commercial use, covering structural timber, glazing, and hardware. Valid claims are assessed case by case, and we'll supply replacement parts wherever possible rather than the whole sauna.
Production takes 10-12 weeks, plus 1-2 weeks dispatch time for pallet haulage. This sauna is delivered flat packed unless otherwise stated. Free UK mainland shipping applies to orders over £500 covering up to one double pallet (2.4m x 1.2m x 2.2m) or two single pallets (1.2m x 1.2m x 2.2m). If your order exceeds this due to length, weight, or quantity, additional pallet charges may apply and are quoted separately based on postcode. Please have a solid base, clear access, and suitable unloading space ready before delivery, with help on site if needed. Pallet deliveries are kerbside only, and you're responsible for moving goods onto your property.

Cube Sauna Icon 125 — 1-2 Person Thermowood Sauna, Front Glass 1.25m — thermowood — angle view 1

Compact cube format, full authenticity

Icon 125 brings a cube influenced profile to the barrel sauna format, with a 125 centimetre length and 205 centimetre diameter that gives it a more compact, square feeling presence compared with the longer, more elongated barrel saunas elsewhere in the range. Solid spruce construction throughout provides genuine thermal mass despite the compact scale, suited to personal or couple use rather than larger group sessions.

The cube styling distinguishes Icon 125 visually from both the traditional barrel and oval formats found across the wider sauna range, giving it a distinctive presence that suits gardens looking for something a little different from the more conventional curved silhouettes. At this length, the structure remains genuinely compact, fitting efficiently into smaller gardens without sacrificing the authentic barrel construction principles that give it real thermal performance.

Icon 125 suits anyone drawn to the cube aesthetic within the barrel sauna format who wants a properly compact entry point into ownership, delivering genuine heat retention and durability at a scale that suits smaller plots or simply a household not looking for the largest possible structure from the outset. It proves that a smaller footprint does not have to mean a lesser sauna experience, with the same authentic heat and timber construction as the rest of the Icon line.
