Once you’re cooking for crowds, speed alone isn’t enough. You need stability. You need heat that doesn’t fade halfway through service. That’s where the Igneus Ceramiko Pro 1000 earns its keep.

Handmade in the UK by Igneus, the Pro 1000 is designed for demanding schedules. Think restaurants, pop ups, food trucks, or ambitious home cooks who entertain often and cook hard. With a 1000 mm cooking area, it comfortably handles four pizzas at once, each finished in around 60 to 90 seconds with even heat across the stone.

It takes time to warm up, roughly 90 minutes, but that’s the trade off for serious thermal mass. Once hot, it stays hot. The included insulation kit pushes heat retention well beyond 24 hours, opening the door to slow cooking, baking, roasting, and smoking long after the pizza rush ends. Pizza first, bread later, maybe a lamb shoulder overnight. You start thinking like a baker rather than a short order cook.

The Pro 1000 is DEFRA approved, which means it can be installed indoors or outdoors when set up correctly. It’s weather and frost proof too, so outdoor installations aren’t fazed by British winters. The decorative archway allows it to be built in seamlessly, whether that’s a commercial kitchen or a permanent outdoor structure.

Visually, it keeps the familiar Ceramiko character. The natural brick tone comes from the refractory mix itself. Want to personalise it? Tile it, paint it, render it. Just note that rendered finishes don’t pair with the stand. Like all Ceramiko ovens, it’s hand cast, so small air bubbles are normal. Honestly, they’re part of the charm.

Assembly is more straightforward than you’d expect for something this size. The modular sections interlock on site, forming a self sealing structure without cranes or specialist lifting gear. It’s heavy once built, no denying that, but during install it’s manageable. Solid, dependable, and built to work.
